Urban Entrepreneurs Win $125,000 In Business Grants

Four small businesses earned $125,000 in business grants by winning the 12th Annual MillerCoors Urban Enterprise Series (MUES) Business Plan Competition. The businesses were honored at a winners reception at MillerCoors headquarters in Chicago on March 9, featuring a keynote address from FUBU Founder and ABC-TV business reality show Shark Tank star Daymond John.

Alfred Edmond Jr. is SVP/Editor-at-large of BLACK ENTERPRISE. He is a content leader, brand representative and expert resource for all media platforms under the BLACK ENTERPRISE brand, including the web site, social media and live networking events.
