NAAAHR’s National Conference to be Held in Philadelphia

The National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR) will hold its 2014 NAAAHR National conference in the city of Philadelphia, PA this year. The conference will take place at the Doubletree Hotel Philadelphia Center City, 237 S. Broad Street from Oct. 2 through Oct. 4.

This year’s theme will be ‘Executing the Power of HR Practices Across Industries.’ Senior level HR executives and their teams are prepared to discuss: emerging trends, issues

and advancements that impact global people strategies and innovative HR solutions. The conference will include experts from Private Sector, Healthcare, Education, Government and Non-profit organization from across the nation.

Executives include Nat Alson, president and CEO of the Horizon’s Group and Chairman of the NAAAHR Board of Directors; Eric Hutcherson (March), Allison Green and George A. Murphy (Lincoln Financial Group); Shelton Goode, Ph.D. (PPL Corp.); Tyronne Stoudemire (Mercer); Shirley Davis, Ph.D. (SDS Enterprises); and Keith Wyche

(Cub Foods), just to name a few. Each day will start off with a “Get Fit & Stay Fit” workshop facilitated by actor, celebrity trainer and choreographer, Darrin Dewitt.
