Scandal Season Cut Down By 4 Episodes

Last week’s winter finale of Scandal was one that people will be discussing for months and that is because the season will not return until February 27th.

The two month hiatus is a result of Kerry Washington’s pregnancy. The season now only has 18 episodes opposed to the 22 they were originally slotted for.

Uptown Magazine says: “They’ve been dressing Olivia Pope (Washington’s character, just in case you’ve

somehow lived under a rock recently) in loose-fitting clothing and coats, but I guess execs believe that won’t continue to work. Shonda Rhimes has no intention of making Pope pregnant, so they felt this was the only way.”
