Pres. Obama Goes Golfing With Tiger Woods in Florida

President Obama is playing golf with ten-time PGA player of the year  Tiger Woods today

at The Floridian range in Port St. Lucie, Florida, golf.com reports. This will be President Obama’s first time playing golf with Woods. Golf World senior writer Tim Rosaforte tweeted that today is “a historic day in golf.”

According to the Associated Press, Obama is on a “boys’ golfing  weekend” for the President’s Day holiday weekend, staying at a hotel in Port. St. Lucie, and playing with friends and colleagues at the Floridian, a private course owned by Houston Astros owner Jim Crane.

Obama got a swing lesson from Woods’s former swing coach Butch Harmon on Saturday.
