Pres. Obama to Deliver Commencement Speech at Morehouse College

President Barack Obama will give the commencement speech at Atlanta’s Morehouse College this May, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Newly-installed Morehouse President John Silvanus Wilson Jr., made the announcement this weekend, and claims he did not ask the president to come, but was notified by the White House in January that President Obama wanted to deliver the speech.

This will be Obama’s second commencement speech at an HBCU. His first was at Hampton University in 2010.
