Mackey Sisters Present Landmark Twins Exhibit at NYC’s Schomburg
The Lynn twins' work has been collected by celebrities and industry leaders including Earl Graves, Sr., Bill Cosby, Kanye West and Bob Johnson. They have enjoyed more than 15 years of success walking the professional path they say chose them.

On Sept. 28, Mackey Twins Art Gallery based in Mt. Vernon, N.Y., presented a weekend event called "TWIN," showcasing the works of twin artists, Terry Lynn and Jerry Lynn, at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The event was sponsored by companies including The Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce, and Harlem Arts Alliance, and marks the first twin artists and twin gallerists collaboration.

Original art by the duo was available for viewing and purchase, with most of the work created exclusively for the exhibition.

The event also featured "TWIN: an Artist Talk," moderated by Janell Hazelwood, associate producer for BlackEnterprise.com. Each brother talked about their early parental support to follow their passion, the synergy between them when collaborating on pieces and how other minority artists can monetize their craft in the industry.
