The Changing Faces of Hip-Hop Legend Lil Kim

Words by Amber McKynzie Lil Kim has been known for her voluptuous image since she stepped onto the music scene in the mid-90s, but over the past few years her sexy figure hasn’t received much positive feedback, especially not when talk show hosts such as Wendy Williams are commenting on her new “filled” face. Wendy took to her show last Tuesday (March 12), telling Kim— through the television of course —“Kim, in my mind, I know your goal was always to look like La Toya Jackson,” she continued. "You've out-La Toya'd La Toya in your new look, and don't blame Photoshopping. Blame your plastic surgeon, girl." Kimberly Jones didn’t take kindly to Williams’ words, so she took to Twitter to express her anger. "@WendyWilliams B*tch Y didn't u show the side by side pic," she yelled through her computer. "This pic is photoshopped & U know it. U hating B*tch." Lil Kim released a number of upsetting tweets, which have since been deleted, claiming the images Wendy referenced during her broadcast were altered and photoshopped. The raptress has now filed $1 million lawsuit against her lawyer, Sunny Barkats, and his partner, Andrew Ro. While her anger may be properly placed, the public just wants to know the truth. To settle the debate, BlackEnterprise.com has compiled a number of Lil Kim photos posted through the years and wants readers to decide. Is her argument legit or is she just “custom made?”
