With the recent album releases of hip-hop heavyweights Drake and Kanye West, the music industry has definitely won with the excitement surrounding both projects. But, another Hip-Hop heavyweight has just broken a record with his contribution to Drake’s album, Certified Lover Boy.
According to a tweet sent from Billboard Charts, Jay-Z has joined R&B diva Mariah Carey as one of the only recording artists to have a top 10 hit in four different decades. With this distinction, he also becomes the first rapper to have a top 10 hit in four separate decades.
Jay-Z earned the distinction when he appeared as a featured artist on Drake’s “Love All.” This is Jay-Z’s first top 10 hit since he was featured on Beyoncé’s “Drunk In Live” back in 2014. This is his 22nd career top 10 hit.
Jay-Z’s feature on @Drake‘s “Love All” (No. 10) earns him 22nd career top 10 hit and first since his feature on @Beyonce‘s “Drunk In Love” in 2014 (No. 2 peak).
He joins @MariahCarey as the only artists with top 10 hits in the 90s, 00s, 10s and 20s.

That’s not the only news about Jay-Z.
The Brooklyn-bred billionaire hip-hop executive, who was once a part-owner of the National Basketball Association’s Brooklyn Nets, is reportedly interested in owning a National Football League franchise.
According to Front Office Sports, Jay-Z is a potential buyer of an NFL team, the Denver Broncos. (Pat Bowlen, who purchased the franchise in 1984, died in June 2019.) Jay-Z will no doubt have to compete with other suitors, including, sources say, Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon.
NFL sources say the Broncos will be the next team on the market.
