As the big Apple unveiling approaches, iPhone rumors continue to spread across the Internet. The most recent news regarding the tech company’s next smartphone is that it may now come in gold.

Apple’s popular smartphone will reportedly come in gold, as well as the usual white and black options. Reports from TechCrunch

and AllThings D claim “the iPhone won’t feature a gaudy gold, such as you might see on a gold bar, but more of a champagne color,â€ according to USA Today. The iPhone will have a white face with a golden tone on the backplate and edging

Apple has declined to comment.

The company is expected to announce an iPhone 5 successor and more affordable plastic iPhone during the September 10 event.
