Facebook Refuses to Remove Racist “Black Baby as Chimp” Post

A Facebook page called “Laughing so hard you feel a six pack coming on” posted a photo of a white baby crawling beside a baby chimp with the caption: Black children are just like white children,” Clutch

The photo equates black people with monkeys, a common racial slur.

Many complained about the photo to Facebook. But Facebook said the photo doesn’t violate the community standard on hate speech, so they did not remove it. Users have started a Change.org petition
