Soledad O’Brien’s Niece Scores Highest GPA at Harvard

Soledad O’Brien’s niece, Ellie Hylton, is graduating from Harvard University, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in sociology, and with the highest GPA in her class. She’s been awarded the Sophia Freund Prize.

Both of Hylton’s parents graduated from Harvard.

While at Harvard, Hylton ran track, tutored high school students in Boston and wrote a senior thesis on the racial and socioeconomic achievement gap in the U.S.
