Los Angeles Superior Court probate Judge Michael Levanas made no decision in the 45-minute court hearing Monday, but he repeatedly said that settling the Sterling disagreement may not involve dueling doctors and extensive legal arguments.
“I could do this trial in five minutes – it’s a checklist,” he said. “I don’t know why you need the court. Essentially, if the trustee has the power, they have the power.”
Donald Sterling was banned for life from the NBA and fined $2.5 million for being caught on tape making racist comments to V. Stiviano.
