Damon Dash Discusses Estrangement From Jay-Z

Damon Dash, the co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, spoke to Global Grind about his new business ventures, and his relationship – or lack thereof – with his former partner, Jay-Z.

“All we did was make a company together, and sold the company, and went and did other businesses,” Dash told GlobalGrind. “Why can’t two black people do that? It was a business arrangement. ”

Dash went on: “Maybe what you might want to ask about is about the friendship, what happened with that, but that’s more personal.”
