USA Today is reporting that although financial terms weren’t disclosed, the deal is for 8 years with the potential of being extended to 10 years based on incentives.
Lillard made history in New Orleans this past year by becoming the first player in league history to take part in five events, including the game. He took part in the slam dunk competition, the three-point contest, the Rising Stars game and the skills challenge.
Adidas head of global basketball sports marketing, Chris Grancio, called Lillard “one of the cornerstones of the adidas brand.”
