Leah Brown In a matter of six years, Leah Brown’s A10 Clinical Solutions has experienced radical growth, generating $8.3 million in revenue last year. The drug company performs clinical trials for drug manufacturers. Brown started the company after she lost on uncle to AIDS. Since its launch, Brown has also begun setting up medical walk-in facilities at commuter destinations. more
Kelli Coleman Don Coleman may have built Global Hue from the ground up, taking it to No. 1 on the BE Advertising Agencies list with $483.5 million in billings. But his daughter, Kelli, is poised to take the firm to new heights with an eye for innovation and penchant for growth. Monique Pean With an eye for fashion, Monique Pean has made a name for herself creating fine jewelry inspired by indigenous cultures that is socially and environmentally conscious. Her line, Monique Pean Fine Jewelry, was among a handful of elite designers to win a 2009 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)/Vogue Fashion Fund (CVFF) award. Her designs have been worn by First Lady Michelle Obama and other celebrities. more
