Vernice “FlyGirl” Armour hit the Women of Power Summit March 4 with an inspiring “Zero to Breakthrough” keynote address. After an introduction by Shelly Jones Jennings, Black Enterprise’s vice president and director of digital, Armour shared her “7-Step, Battle Tested Method for Accomplishing Goals that Matter.” “God is just waiting for you to show up,” she said, outfitted in a combat pilot jumpsuit. “You’ve got to make your gusty move. You’ve just got to engage.”
