‘Think Like A Man Too’ Big Business At ABFF and Box Office

Cast of "Think Like a Man Too" at red-carpet premier

"Think Like A Man Too," the sequel to the smash hit based on comedian Steve Harvey's bestseller, was the box office champ, grossing a whopping $30 million in its debut weekend. Like the first film, which opened with $33 million in box-office receipts in April 2012 and went on to gross $96 million domestically, it was produced and directed by Will Packer and Tim Story, respectively, and starred an all-star ensemble cast that included Kevin Hart, Regina Hall, Michael Ealy and Taraji P. Henson. The film's red carpet premiere last week was held during the opening night of the American Black Film Festival, the annual event promoting independent black film, talent development and power networking. ABFF Founder Jeff Friday opened the festival, citing that the event has been used as a platform to provide access and exposure for young filmmakers and a valuable launching pad for careers in the entertainment industry. more
