There are myriad issues affecting African Americans that must be addressed at the local level. Among those concerns: Fixing education systems; upgrading skills for urban workers; and reforming police policies. So in this highly charged environment, what is the role of black business? How can entrepreneurs work with churches and community groups as well as local administrations and national leaders to develop meaningful public policy?
