Alicia Keys Similar to his campaign to get young people to vote in 2012, President Obama reached out to stars like Alicia Keys as early as last July to join the administration's enrollment blitz. Keys granted interviews to media organizations like CNN in which she stated that "everything is right about affordable health care...it's revolutionary." In fact, in the final hours of the campaign, her mother joined the act by appearing in a special PSA with other celebrity moms.more

Real Husbands of Hollywood The president used every opportunity to promote ACA - including getting the cast of one of the most popular shows to encourage African Americans to sign up. BET released a hilarious web video featuring the "Real House Husbands of Hollywood": Kevin Hart, Nelly, Nick Cannon, Boris Kodoje, and Duane Martin. Their message: "If you don't sign up by March 31 …you might die."more
