12. Radical Dreams Pins

Big things come in small packages.

This old saying is the best way to describe Radical Dreams Pins, a line of small lapel pins that carry a loud message when it comes to proudly proclaiming your blackness. Founded in 2015, this socially conscious accessory brand offers unique lapel pins and buttons based on iconic African American figures and social justice. A few of their signature pins include Shirley Chisholm with the words “Unbought & Unbossed,” Colin Kaepernick kneeling on one knee, and the word “FREE” embedded in the center of a black fist.

Shannon E. Pringle, the company founder, says she created the brand after she developed a love for lapel pins and realized that very few were geared towards social justice and Black culture. She adds that the “mission of Radical Dreams is to empower people to work towards justice, equality, and freedom, one pin at a time.”

#BuyBlack and be fly this holiday season. Your style and community will thank you.
