Rumors have been buzzing about Golden Globe winning actor Idris Elba becoming the first black James Bond. Definitely a great pick, but also an obvious one. David Oyelowo is kind of a newbie, but he’s shown his acting chops in Red Tails and the awesome award-winning indie movie Middle of Nowhere. Both of those films had him giving romantic vibes and Red Tails gave us his action side too. He’ll be a household name soon enough.more

He is more than a dance movie actor and he’s proven that time and time again over the past few years. Short was brilliant in Cadillac Records. more
You might know Hassan Johnson best as Wee-Bey from The Wire. He has also been in Clockers, ER, Entourage, Brooklyn’s Finest and a slew of music videos. Johnson has a street edge to many of his characters that I’d love to see smoothed out for a James Bond role. more
