As reported at Women’s Wear Daily, Beyoncé has been named honorary chair of this year’s Costume Institute Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She will join co-chairs Rooney Mara, Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, Moda Operandi’s Lauren Santo Dominigo and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour at this year’s event.
The benefit celebrates the “Punk: Chaos to Couture” exhibition, which runs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art from May 9 to August 14.
Hopefully, with all the hoopla over Beyonce and Jay-Z’s recent vacation to Cuba, the singer will be able to attend the event. The Costume Institute Benefit will take place on May 6th.
