13 Fall Essentials For a Weekend Getaway

The leaves are changing. The air is brisk. Fall is officially here (earlier than expected in some places). This is my favorite season because the drop in temperature allows you the chance to truly showcase your style by playing with different colors and textures. Another reason is for the ability to get away for a cozy weekend with that special person. In this edition of Suit Your Life I’ll give you the perfect weekend getaway wardrobe that will take you from apple picking in the orchard to a nice candle lit dinner at a fine restaurant that evening to anything else you may want to do in between. —Gardy V. SYL TIP: When prepping for a weekend trip, pack light. Choose items that compliment each other, and can be interchanged and layered, to give you the most outfit options without having to take up too much space in your weekend bag.
